PodiPodi - The magical box

Have you already pressed Shift+Space on your keyboard? C'mon try it!

PodiPodi is a special web widget born with the aim to give web designers a way to enhance their websites with two new levels of interaction:

  1. an additional quick and easy to use user interface for visitors
  2. a bunch of new useful services to enhance a website

PodiPodi comes in two version: the Command Line and Graphical Interface:

  • Command Line (Geeky Version)

In this version PodiPodi appear as a keyboard-driven interface (similar to a shell prompt) that allows the users to type commands and obtain respones. You can type in several commands to perform different tasks like searching the web with Google or Yahoo!, find text in the page, send a comment to the website owner or send a message to a friend of yours, you can also enjoy videos from YouTube and Google Videos and search for pictures on Flickr.

  • Graphical User Interface (Joyful Version)

In this Joyful version PodiPodi appears as a flying box in the middle of the screen full of colored icons. You can click the icons to launch the services embedded in PodiPodi: Google, Flickr, YouTube, Yahoo and many more!
This version was born with the aim to add a more simple interaction layer to PodiPodi, since many people told us it was hard to understand. This version is much more simple...isn't it?!?

You can try both the dear old command line version and the new enhanced joyful one just by pressing Shift+Space on your keyboard, simple, ain't?!?

Embedding PodiPodi is pretty simple, follow these steps or try the default version:
